Can you believe our baby is already two? I know I sound like a broken record, but seriously, where does the time go? We had a little birthday party for Izzie on Saturday since Nathan was going to be out of town for her actual birthday on Monday. We had a pizza party, cake and ice cream, presents, and then everyone stayed to watch a movie.
The duckie cake turned out okay even though his eyes looked a little possessed! Izzie just wanted to eat all of the marshmallows surrounding the duck.
When it was time to blow out the candle, Izzie was a little freaked out by the flame. She wouldn't blow it out by herself, so her cousins were nice enough to help her out. We will have to work on that for next year. Who knew she was afraid of anything??
All of the presents Izzie received were a hit. She was pretty jazzed about her new ladybug pillow pet.
And as you can see, she fell in love with her new princess piggy bank and kept wanting to give it a smooch.
Here she is with all of her gifts which included: a little people ferris wheel, cute tutu outfit, Dora dish set, puzzles, pillow pet, slippers, Leapfrog laptop, piggy bank, and even some cash. Wow, is this girl spoiled or what?
Thanks everyone for your thoughtful gifts. You made Izzie's birthday lots of fun. We love you Izzie and hope you had a wonderful birthday!
