Fall 2010

Now that Winter has arrived in Idaho, I decided I had better post pictures of Fall before they are too outdated. This year it seemed like Halloween lasted forever. Maybe it was because it was on a weekend, so their were multiple days of activities. Since Grandma Reesey was going to be in California visiting Eric, Leah, and baby Dane for Halloween, she had a little pre-Halloween party for the kids. They had tons of fun decorating their pumpkin cookies. I don't think Alex could have fit much more on her cookie.

It was great having Makoy and Megan there too. We can't wait to get them back here for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Unfortunately, we have been plagued with more than our share of sickness at our house, especially Izzie. She seems to catch every bug going around. She loves to cuddle when she is sick and thank goodness her big sister is there to comfort her. What a great big sis!!

We made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch down the road. We waited just a little too long because it was slim pickings on the pumpkins. We will have to go earlier next year.
The girls still had fun playing in the corn maze and on the little train they have there.

The girls looked darling in their little costumes. Alex loved wearing her kitty mask even though I don't think she could see out of it very well. Izzie would leave her tiara on for a few minutes and then rip it off and then try to hit Alex with her magic wand. Not stellar behavior from a princess!!
On Friday we went to the chili cookoff/trunk or treat at our church. The kids had fun and got tons of candy. Izzie was a little confused by the whole trunk or treat thing, but was very excited about the candy.
On Saturday, we went trick or treating the old fashioned way-pounding the pavement door to door. I have to admit that while it is a lot more work than trunk or treat, it is a lot more fun.
We met up with all of Kristen and Greg's kids. What an adorable bunch!

This past weekend we made a trip down to Utah for Grandpa Joe's funeral. He passed away after a two year battle with cancer. We will miss him so much, but we are happy his suffering is over. He was a wonderful Grandpa and truly adored our girls and all of his grand/great-grand/great-great grandkids.

When we go to Payson, Alex is always really excited to play with her cousin Josilyn. They are old enough now that they play really well together.

While at Grandma Kate's, Isabelle decided to do a new hairstyle with yogurt. What a goofball, she is so proud of herself.
