I have long been a fan of window boxes overflowing with flowers that frequently adorn the windows of Swiss Chalets and German homes. I have been planning on putting them under some of the windows on our home and finally got around to finishing them this past weekend. I think it adds a lot of personality to our home. I am excited for the flowers to get bigger so it really adds a lot of color. One other new addition is our fence. We are so excited to have an enclosed backyard so our kids can run wild and not wander off. It is great!!

A few weeks ago we went for a little walk along the green belt and let the girls feed the ducks. Izzie wouldn't cooperate with getting her picture taken and so this is the best I could do. She had tons of fun but was stressing me out because she has no fear of water or anything else (for example, random dogs that could eat her!)
Alex was much more cooperative with getting her picture taken, but was still sporting a bit of a fake smile.
When we were in Payson last month we got to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa Jackson. Grandpa Jackson has an aggressive type of cancer and we are not really sure how much time he has left. He is so sweet with the girls and just loves them so much. We hope he sticks around for a lot longer.

Love the planter boxes. I look forward to seeing what they look like in the coming months. Can't wait to see you guys. I hope that your Gandpa Jackson will be around for a long time too. There is nothing better than family!
