We had a terrific Thanksgiving at our house. It was my first attempt at cooking a turkey and luckily I had Nathan's Dad to help me through the process. It is not really all that hard, just intimidating looking at a 27 pound bird when you have never cooked one before. It turned out great! We just had a small group this year. It was Nathan's parents and his sister Kristen and her family. We had a great time and ate A LOT! Isabelle wasn't really interested in eating any of her pureed Thanksgiving dinner. She decided instead to eat this foam Davita star for dinner. We were wondering what she had in her mouth and discovered she had chewed off all five corners. Are you kidding me? She only has two little teeth. We have to watch her closely. I know all babies put things in their mouths, but she is worse than even Alex was. She will literally eat ANYTHING.
The following are just random pictures I have taken of Izzie over the last few months. She is going to be walking soon and I can hardly stand to think that my little baby is turning one in January. She is so much fun and we are so happy she is part of our family.

Alex
Alex is getting such a cute little personality and a big vocabulary. Everyday she comes up with new phrases that just crack me up. She is getting very excited for Christmas and is finally getting the concept. The other day she visited with Santa at the mall. She didn't sit on his lap, but did talk to him from the safety of her stroller. When he asked her what she wanted for Christmas, she told him candy. Well, that's easy.
Last Sunday at about 2 in the morning I was awakened by a huge thud and then crying. Alex had fallen out of bed. She was scared but didn't complain of anything specific hurting. We didn't realize until morning that she had in fact hit her eye on the nightstand on the way down. By morning the cut was clotted over and I didn't want to really pull on it to see if she needed stitches. In hind sight, she probably could have used a couple of stitches, but hopefully it wont scar.

Izzy is so sweet, and Alex has such beautiful eyes (even if one was black!). Glad you are doing well. Have a very Merry Christmas!
