Isabelle is getting to be so much fun. She has started cooing and making the cutest noises lately. She is so happy in the morning when she first wakes up, and also whenever she has just awakened from a nap. She has discovered her hands and has started to use them to grasp toys. I can hardly believe she is three months old. I am sure it went by this fast with Alex too, but maybe it just seems faster because I am taking care of two kids now. They are so much fun and I love being a Mom.
This past week I went to visit my family in Utah while Nathan was in Washington D.C. for work. It was so great to see my family and just hang out. My brother Craig had not even seen Isabelle yet. I took this really cute picture of them together. Craig held her for quite some time while she slept until she had made him so hot he couldn't take it any longer. She is a little radiator.
Alex got to play with her cousin Josilyn. They had tons of fun together. I think this picture is so cute. They were looking at the pictures of everyone in our family.
Here is Alex showing us how she can "freeze". She learned it from watching Yo Gabba Gabba, which is her very favorite show. Josilyn had just gotten her cast removed from her broken leg and hadn't quite adjusted to the cast not being there anymore. She was walking around like she had a peg leg, it was so funny.
Nathan got the chance to go lobby at the capital while he was in Washington D.C. They lobbied for various issues affecting dialysis centers in general, but he also got to to meet with the senators from Idaho to discuss the red tape preventing the center in Idaho Falls from opening. Hopefully it will make a difference. We would really love to have Nathan working closer to home so we can see him more.
Doesn't he look handsome in his suit?
