Well, I am finally getting around to posting some new pictures of Isabelle. It is hard to believe she is going to be four weeks old this Saturday. They sure grow fast. She eats non-stop, so I have reason to believe she is growing faster than most. At her two week check up she had already gained a pound more than her birth weight, and that was even after losing half a pound after leaving the hospital. She seems to lack an off switch and Alex is lacking an on switch as far as eating goes. Too bad we can't average them out! Isabelle is starting to sleep a little better. Instead of being up every 2 hours, she is making 3-4 hour stretches of time without eating. So far we haven't had much luck getting her to take a binki. It is true what everyone says about each child being so different. Alex loved her binki and rarely spit up or was colicky. Isabelle has some stomach issues which makes her cranky sometimes, spits up frequently, and refuses to have the vile binki put in her mouth. She really is a good, sweet baby though and we love her so much.
Isabelle barely opened her eyes long enough for me to take one picture. I think that look says, "Mom please stop with the camera already and let me sleep in peace."

Best Buds
Today Alex's cousins Brynlee and Zachary came over to play for a little while. Brynlee says she and Alex are "best buds". They are so cute together and have a blast playing together.
I love this picture of them just hanging out, playing with purses and reading books.
Here they are giving a big "cheese" to the camera.

Isabelle is so sweet! I hope you are feeling well, glad you're getting a bit more sleep. I loved the pictures (I think I need a newborn again), I love that stage. I can't believe that Isaac is already 8 months old. They do grow way too fast! Take care!
