I know it is a few days late, but Happy Easter!! We had a wonderful weekend even though it was pretty chilly here. On Saturday we went to Shelley to the park for an Easter egg hunt. Which pretty much entailed me running around with Alex in my arms scooping up eggs, while trying not to trample other small children. Alex didn't really know what to make of the whole event, but I think she had fun all the same. I do know for a fact that she enjoyed the chocolate and jelly beans inside the eggs immensely.
On Sunday morning Alex was very interested in what the Easter Bunny had brought her. She loved her stuffed bunny and the new pink rubber ducky. She had fun playing with the bubbles too.
Alex finally got to wear her new Easter dress. Grandma Reesey gave it to her for her first birthday. Doesn't she look adorable?
Sunday afternoon we went to Nathan's parents for a nice dinner and then the kids had fun hunting for Easter eggs. Alex ate her own weight in candy and enjoyed sucking on all of the Easter eggs(note her yellow chin in the picture). It was a very nice Easter. We hope you enjoyed yours as well.
