How lucky am I? This year I was able to partake of two delicious Thanksgiving feasts. Nathan had to fly out of the SLC airport on business, so Alex and I drove down with him and hung out with my family while he was gone. Most of my family had various plans for Thanksgiving day, so my Mom opted to have an early Thanksgiving on Wednesday night. It was great because everyone was able to be there (except Nathan of coarse) and the food was wonderful as usual. After dinner Alex and I headed to the airport to pick up Nathan and we drove home to Idaho. On Thanksgiving Day, we had another terrific dinner with all of Nathan's family.
Alex wasn't very interested in the food, but she did enjoy the company. She is always very entertained by all of the kids and commotion going on. The kids were having a blast watching miniature elf-versions of themselves dancing on the computer. If you haven't tried it, you should. Go to elfyourself.com and you can upload your face onto a dancing elf. It is a lot of fun.

We have decorated for Christmas, and as you can imagine, it has proved to be a chore to keep Alex out of the tree. She loves all the decorations and wants to hold them all. I am so excited for Alex to experience her first Christmas this year. She has such a funny personality and is trying to be so independent. She has developed a little bit of a temper already.
I read it is important to get your kids used to brushing their teeth as soon as possible. Even though Alex only has four teeth so far, she is very into brushing. The first few times she let me help, but now she likes to do it on her own.
It has been so cold and windy here in Idaho, and we really have to bundle Alex up so she doesn't freeze. She looks so adorable in her little hat (that is when she will leave it on).
