One month old

Yesterday Alex was officially one month old. I took her to the mall to get her picture taken to celebrate the occasion. I know I shouldn't have expected much since the pictures were really cheap, but you really do get what you pay for. When we left the mall I was inspired to do a photo session at home with just Alex and I because I knew I could do better than the teenager at the mall. Here are some of my favorites.



This is Alex's first time in a dress. My good friend Mishala made this for her. She looked so cute in her little tights, but her black shiny dress shoes are still too big for her.



Why are pictures of naked babies so cute? I can't explain it, they just are.





I took this picture yesterday while Alex was having her afternoon nap. I thought it was so cute how she had her hand under her chin. When I took the picture she was nice enough to give me a smile.



This is from today of her sporting her first jogging suit. Just in case you thought I dressed her exclusively in pink...we also do purple.

Congrats on being one month old, Alex!! What a sweetie.

We got Alex's baby announcement yesterday. She looks just like Nathan. You should post some baby pictures of both of you guys so we can compare!! :-)

Cute pictures!! And you're right...you can probably do better than the teenager at the mall. (I've never taken Linus in for "professional" pictures!)

I love how you don't just dress her in pink...Haaa!!!

(Oh, and the black background on the blog makes the pictures seem darker. Or maybe I'm the only one that thinks that. Maybe a different colored background would be better?! Just an idea....)

I love the picture with the wedding rings. I may have to try that one.

And you're right...naked babies are CUTE. I just took naked pictures of Linus for the first time last night. He is so cute when he's crawling around naked.
