Christmas at last!

I have been meaning to post pictures of Christmas for some time now and I am just now finally getting around to doing it. We had a wonderful Christmas in Payson with my side of the family. We had wonderful traveling weather, sunshine and dry roads the whole way! We had our traditional Christmas Eve party at my parents house. There was a house full of people and lots of yummy food.

The girls had a great time playing with their cousins.

Alex and Izzie were super excited about their new jammies.  Alex's had Jessie the cowgirl on them and Izzie's had Dora.

Christmas morning was chaotic, crazy, and a lot of fun.  The girls were so excited about all of their fun gifts.
Sienna seemed to be more excited about all of the wrapping paper than she was about any of her presents.
Izzie loves to color and she got a lot of toys that involved drawing, like a magna-doodle, a doodle bear, and a leap frog drawing game.  She was pretty excited about the princess tent and dress up clothes she and Alex got from Santa too.

Alex was in love with her new Jessie and Bullseye dolls.  She loved her new digital camera and had fun taking pictures of everyone.

The girls looked so pretty in their Christmas dresses. It was fun to go to my old ward with my Mom and Dad on Christmas morning. It was so nice to be able to stop and really think about our Saviour and his birth.

After church we headed down to Amy's house for our traditional morning breakfast, which was actually more like brunch. We had delicious pumpkin waffles with buttermilk syrup and a quiche casserole, so yummy! We just hung out and opened gifts with everyone and looked through old photo albums reminiscing the old days.

Sweet little Brielle decided she didn't want to miss Christmas and showed up a few weeks early. I was so glad I got to see her. She is absolutely gorgeous.

I love this picture of Craig with my Grandma Jackson. I can't believe she is 87 years old.

I still can't believe Amy is the Grandma to two babies now. I hope I look as good as her when I am a Grandma!

We stayed in Payson until the day after Christmas and then headed back to Idaho. Nathan's Mom's birthday is on Christmas, and this year was a BIG one, she was turning 60! She didn't want a big deal made out of her birthday, but we put together a little surprise party with family and some close friends.

I made her a special present in honor of the big day.  It is a sleigh with 60 suckers in it and the sign says "60 sucks!"
