Alex had such a wonderful fun-filled birthday yesterday. From the second she woke up, she could hardly wait for her party to start. She helped me get everything ready and was so excited when everyone we invited showed up to celebrate.
We played magical carpets instead of musical chairs.
Alex was totally spoiled from all of her friends, she got so many fun things. Some of her favorites were a beanie baby giraffe, rollerskating barbie, a super sized my little pony, a princess keyboard, a zhu zhu pet, and the list goes on.

Once again I contemplated buying a cake and just couldn't do it. When Alex saw a picture of a castle cake on the internet, she fell in love and wanted me to make it. Our version of it turned out pretty cute.
Alex loved her new plasma car even if it is the wrong season to be riding it. She will have a blast on it in the spring and until then I guess she can ride it in the basement.
We had a family party in the evening for Alex, so she had a full day of partying! She loved every minute of it.
