Pumpkin Patch

Well, Fall is in full swing here in Idaho and you know what that means...time for a trip to the pumpkin patch. We didn't really need another pumpkin since Grandpa Keith was nice enough to grow some for us in his garden, but it has become a little family tradition to go every year to pick one out at the pumpkin patch.

The girls had fun playing in the hay maze and searching for the perfect pumpkin.

This little pumpkin weighs in at about 33 pounds!

Alex couldn't resist jumping off the tower of hay to her daddy.

I had a hard time deciding whether or not to put Izzie in dancing this year. Usually her teacher doesn't take kids before the age of 3, but Izzie is close. She learned a lot by watching Alex dance all of last year, so we decided to give it a try. So far it is going well. Izzie sometimes has a hard time paying attention and kind of does her own thing. She is always really excited to get her dancing clothes on and go to class. It is hard for her to watch Alex getting to do all of these fun things like preschool, and dancing, so it is great that she now has something fun to participate in too. Aren't they so cute in their little dance outfits?

Can you believe that the first week of October brought us several inches of snow? At the first sign of it falling, Alex was putting on her snow gear to head outside to build a snowman. I assured her that it was going to melt and their wouldn't be enough to build a snowman with. Boy was I wrong! The snow just kept on coming and the girls had a blast playing in it and eating it.
It was so strange to see trees that still had all of their leaves covered in snow. The weight of the snow was breaking huge limbs off of trees all over town. These picture are of the beginning of the storm. By the time the storm passed, we had probably received 5 or 6 inches of snow.

Our sweet little Sienna is now almost five months old. She rolls over both directions, holds on to toys, smiles and giggles, and is just a wonderful baby. We love her so much!
