We had a wonderful Easter weekend and hope you did too. Since it was conference on Easter Sunday, the girls wore their Easter dresses to church last Sunday. They looked pretty adorable in their matching dresses. Alex kept spinning around in her dress just like I used to when I was little. I remember more than once my primary teacher yelling at me for getting up in the middle of class to spin around in my dress.
We had big plans to go to the Easter egg hunt in the park, but changed our minds when we woke up to snow covering the lawn, and the trees bending in the blasting wind. The girls both have bad colds, so we opted to stay indoors. Last year we blessed Isabelle on Easter and with all of the excitement, we totally forgot about coloring Easter eggs. This was Alex's first real try and coloring eggs. She loved it and had so much fun. She kept wanting to color everything blue. Like Father, like daughter, that is her Daddy's favorite color too.
Easter morning the girls had fun hunting for Easter eggs and seeing what fun things the Easter Bunny had left for them. They both got new chairs and lots of goodies in their baskets. Isabelle could of cared less about her candy, she just wanted to play with the grass!
We had a nice lunch with family at our house and then all of the kids went out in the yard to hunt for Easter eggs. They had a great time even though it was a bit chilly.
In the evening, I took some cute pictures of the girls sitting in their new chairs.

Messy Eater
Izzie is such a good eater. She is very independent and likes to feed herself. Problem is, she loves to get food all over when she eats. She especially loves to smear food around in her hair, which drives me crazy! I took this picture after she had thoroughly enjoyed her Cafe Rio black beans.
The first time I fed her spaghetti, she had it literally EVERYWHERE! I had to clean it out of her eyes and her ears! BUT, she looks good in everything she eats.
