Last week my Father-in-law Keith arranged with an old family friend to let the kids ride horses at his house. The kids were so excited they all got dressed in their "cowboy clothes," which really was only a hat or a pair of cowboy boots. They could hardly stand to wait for the horses to be saddled. They all did so great. None of them were even remotely nervous. Even though it was windy and pretty cold, they didn't complain and could have ridden forever. Alex loves animals so much and is very comfortable around them. I guess all of those trips to the zoo are paying off.

The kids are all so cute! It is crazy how much they change in just a few months. I had to look really close at Brynlee... with that missing tooth I hardly recognize her. Looks like you guys had a fun day. Miss you guys!
