Both of the kids are sleeping and although I know I should probably be napping too, I thought I would take this chance to post some new pictures of Isabelle. We left the hospital Monday morning around 10:30 am. It was so great to be at home. Alex was not sure what to think about Isabelle being at our house, but was very interested in her. She kept asking me "What's baby doing?" I explained to her that the baby needs to sleep a lot. I think she was hoping she would have someone to play with. It has been so great to have Nathan at home with us this week. With as much time as a newborn takes, Alex is feeling a little neglected by me I think. Nathan has been able to give her lots of TLC.
Isabelle has her days and nights mixed up and kept us up a lot last night. Hopefully we can get her clock set right so we can get some rest.
Here is Izzie after we got her dressed to go home from the hospital.
She looks so tiny in her car seat. It is hard to believe that Alex was once this small too.
Alex was so excited to hold Isabelle when we got home. She was very gentle and sweet.
Isabelle was very awake and alert this afternoon and I got these cute pictures of her.

Oh yes, she does look like baby Alex.
And, like you, I saw the pic in the car seat and couldn't imagine we had babies that small!!
She totally looks like Alex! How cute!!
