Merry Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year and hope you all did too. It was so great just to be in our new home and enjoy the holiday. Here are a few pictures of Alex in her new Christmas dress.

On Christmas eve, we went to Nathan's parents home for a party. When we got there, some of the older kids were sledding behind the four wheeler. Alex and Brynlee wanted to get in on the action, but it was pretty cold outside. They had fun watching out the window anyway.

We had a nice dinner and then there was the traditional program reenacting the nativity story.

Uncle Eric and Aunt Leah gave Alex a princess purse. She was so excited and carried it around with her all night. She also looked pretty cute in her new piggy jammies.

After Madisyn and Emily played their Christmas songs on the piano, Alex wanted to have a go at it. It was a whole lot of noise, but she had a great time.

Alex was so much fun on Christmas morning. She caught on to the whole opening of presents thing really quick but still wanted to play with each toy as she opened them. Santa left her a princess tent and a baby with a stroller. She also got a little puppy, bear, puzzle, and lots of darling clothes.

On Christmas morning, the sleigh that had been filled with gifts was empty and Alex discovered it was the perfect size for her.

We wish we could have spent time with all of our family and friends on Christmas. We hope you are enjoying this holiday season and hope to see you all soon.
