Progress

I think I have mentioned before that we are building a new house in Idaho Falls. Actually, we haven't been doing a lot of building just yet-just making preparations to do so. It took us forever to get our plans done and then jumping through multiple hoops to actually get our building permit.
But the good news is that we have a hole in the ground and we are pouring footings today and foundation next week. Yippee!! We will hopefully be done sometime between Halloween and Thanksgiving.
We had a moment of panic earlier this week when a realtor showed up unexpectedly to show our house to someone. We are currently renting and our lease is up at the end of this month. We were hoping to just go from month to month until our house was finished, but the realtor on the doorstep clued us in to the fact that the owner of the house may have other plans. I was freaking out thinking of having to move again and then one more time when the house is finished. And in case you are counting, that would make four moves in one years time. However, all the praying must have paid off because the property manager called me yesterday and said the owner would allow us to extend our lease for five months. Hallelujah!! I was sweating bullets.

Last weekend Nathan was in Washington D.C. at a meeting, so Alex and I ventured down to Utah for a visit. Weston was getting baptized so we were so glad we could be there for that. I love this picture of Braden, Parker, Candice and Wes. Weston looks so happy.

My Mom had fun playing with Alex all weekend. We wish we got to see all of my family more often. We love and miss you.
