I don't know if I mentioned that I am going back to work. I will be working in surgery at the medical center here in Idaho Falls. I am only going to work one day a week which will be perfect. It will get me out of the house a little bit, and hopefully will be good for Alex to be around some people other than her Mom and Dad. Unfortunately, all of my orientation at the hospital fell on the same week and I had to be away more than I wanted to be this week. Alex was shuffled around to many different places to be babysat this week (a big thanks to our family!) but she was lucky enough to stay home with Dad on Wednesday. Nathan was able to witness first hand what a terror she can be sometimes. I was laughing so hard when he showed me the pictures of the aftermath when she got a hold of a purple marker.

I was also laughing when Nathan explained that he wasn't aware that there is a plastic valve that goes in the sippy cup to keep the juice from spilling all over. At lunch when Alex was in her high chair eating, Nathan heard a sloshing sound and looked over to discover Alex smearing apple juice all over the tray and playing like she was in the tub.

Don't let those big blue eyes fool you-she's not as innocent as she looks!

Alex was having some fun with her sand bucket. She is such a character and so much fun!

I think it's awesome when daddy gets to witness what we are around all day. Such cute pictures! Congrats on your new job. You'll be awesome!
